MIXING
Mixing is the last step before mastering. It means you treat all your elements individually for the best result of each tools, so the joined elements will create a nice balance.
This step makes the track sounding a full track.
MASTERING
Mastering prepares an audio mix ready for distribution. This is the final step where your track gains it's final body. Here's when all mixed tracks joins together as a masterpiece.
STEM MASTERING
Stem mastering means that the sections are mastered separately, leaving spaces for adding further elements to finish the track. Do you have problems to getting your an element clean, such as a kick drum, a bass line or a vocal line? This one is for you.
SENDING THE FILES
Done exporting? Add your files to a blank project and listen if everything sounds right. Then name each track by it's content (ex.: kick, clap & snare, hi hats, bass, etc.) pack them in a ZIP file and sent it over to master@djchrislawyer..com using WeTrander or any similar platform.

Send your WAV or AIF files for master with a master level peaking between -3 db and -6 db, so I have room to do magic.
HOW TO PAY?
Once I checked the files I'll send you the invoice with a link where you will be able to make the payment.

I need your name, address and ID number (VAT, passport, etc.). In all cases payments must be made in advance.
DELIVERY
When your track is ready I send you the master in WAV and 320kbps MP3.

Turn around time depends on the project, but usually it's between 3 and 6 working days.
​
(If you need your track by a certain date, let us know in advance and I'll do my best to deliver it on time or will let you know in case it's not possible.)
